Need some help and advice

I'm going to be purchasing a 135 gallon tank in the next week or so, and I have some questions. First off......how big do Botia Angelicus get? This tank is going to be a heavily planted tank, containing amazon sword plants, parrots feather, contortion grass, micro swords, bacopa, and banana plants. I am looking at the Flourite and Onyx Sand substrates from Seachem, but I'm crious if I can add pool filter sand to them, instead of using the flourite or onyx exclusively. I have ~100lbs. of teh filter sand at my house to use, but I know that it's not a good plant substrate. The tank will house Pearl Danios, Leopard Danios, Zebra Danios, 1 Common Pleco, 3 Botia Angelicus, and a Violet Goby.....with more to come later. Thanks in advance for the help.
