Beaufortia kweichowensis

I purchased 3 of these neat little fish at a pet store (where they were incorrectly labeled as "Butterfly Plecostamus") a few months ago. For a while they seemed to be doing really well for a while, scavenging around my tank (a 20 gallon long which they share with 3 head-and-tail light tetras, a plecostamus and 2 bettas), but I lost both of them after a month or so.

I assumed that they were eating algae off the sides of the tank, since I was also assuming they were actually plecos rather than loaches. Now that I know what they really were, I'm planning to get some more...what do they eat? Do they have any special requirements?

Thanks in advance!

Heather
