Salt for Clown Loaches

I saw a question regarding salt and Clown Loaches. I have some archerfish and it was highly recomended to me to place some salt in the tank. It seems a lot of people agree that Clown Loaches can tolerate some salt, but what would be a good amount to keep my Clowns and archers happy? I also have a reef tank, and a healthy supply of Tropic Marin salt, so could I use that salt? Also in reference to ich problems, I have always used Maracide (the stuff that turns the water green) and it has worked for me every time my loaches and other fish had ich.
