modestas and royal pl*co?

hello loachlovers,

we have 2 1 &1/2" modestas in Q right now, and are wondering which tank to put them in.

15G fakeplanted, realwood/cave, gravel with 3 1" clowns, 1 hillstream and wee guppies?
Or with the 3" 'royal' pl*co in 30G which has wood, caves, sand, a fast, straight current?

we've heard that the modestas will eat little fishies in their sleep, so the guppies have us worried, there.
OTOH, the river tank has NEMATODES, which Allivymar said is loachnip.

you can see we're leaning one way, but we'd like yer opinion, loachlovers!

thanks for your help,
lori n boris
