Weird Hillstream Behaviour.

Yesterday we picked up 4 more gorgeous Gastromyzon punctulatus from Harold at the Menagerie Petshop.

I got home tonight and they're zipping around the Q-tank and have coloured up SO amazingly. These 4 are REALLY fabulous and very lively.

One of them is doing something pretty strange I've not seen before. The water level is about 1.5" down from the top of the tank and this fish was wiggling up the glass, out of the water and then squirning along horizontally a while before working it's way back into the water again. Then it repeats the action.

Anyone else seen this?

Love these fish. To me they're the Hillstream equivalent of Golden Nugget Plecs...so pretty.

Martin.
