Can anyone help me diagnose a problem i am having in my Q-tank? It seems to be snowing--there's a dirty grey/tan colored dust all over my plants. When i vacuum the stuff flies up into the water and looks like a cross between dust and city snow! It's not very nice ;-( I'm wondering if it's some kind of algae bloom and water changes seem to just make it worse. The fish are none the worse for the snow, but my ozelot sword and hygrophila don't care for it at all.
I've just completed a cycle of kanacyn treatment last 2 weeks ago and the stuff seems to be in response to that? Any suggestions/help/crazy comments would be appreciated.
