OMIGOD, what were we waiting for?
We just scored with 2 Dojo's - a fossilis and a anguicaudalis. Think they're both males, but they are definately playmates.
Got 'em from LFS after watching 'em rip into a snail. Looked like something out of 'Wild Kingdom'. ('Very healthy eaters', we thinks.) Didn't want to let the shreds go, so ok, during the ride home we let 'em have it. Well, there wasn't much left for us to throw away when the time came to acclimate them!
The 1st morning, the silver sand bottom looked like a lunar surface, little craters everywhere. They are nonstop digger/sifters.
We were supposed to go out the nite we got 'em, but blew it off just to sit and watch 'em do explore the boundaries. Our Eheim 2217 jetts thru a burst of bubbles, so they spent some time surfing, too. What a gas!
