Hiya everyone. Long time no visit. I hope everybodies loachies are happy and healthy.
I am having a problem with black beard algea in my rainbow and botia tank.I have 2.5 watts/gal on it(70gal) btw. I have tested my water yata yata ,iron is good phosphates @3, and have added phosphate pillows.I already 30% water changes weekly. I have already soaked ,bleached,scrubbed my slate etc and removed all leaves infested. I have read you can use copper safe to help get rid of it. Anybody try this? The occupants are botias(5kinds),praecox rainbows and a clown plec.
Help!!! I can't stand to look at it growing on my java fern rooted mopanis:((
