After getting my water params in order I still had to remove the dreaded bba from mopani woood and plants. I read about doing in tank dosing of hydrogen peroxide but decided to go one further.I took out the offending pieces and I completely soaked my java ferns (still attached to mopani wood) , java moss ,wood peices and some slate. I let it soak in for 2 mins and rinsed and rinsed and rinsed then replaced into tank. The BBA had turned bright orange/red and one week later not atrace remaines on any plants or wood and my planted are fine growing nicely even the java moss which I was worrired about surviving. I watched some fish nibbling on the dead bba so maybe that's where it went?
Anyhow it was a great
