Water Hardness problem?

We have really hard water and alkaline water here. LFS say that it doesn't matter since the loaches are kept in hard water so it should be used to it already... im doubting this. My thinking that is they do tolerate it but like an Escomo being put in the Amazon...Loaches put in hard water get stressed and sick more easily. I think adding a 1:3 mix of bottled water and tap water is a vaible solution.

My water is about 300+ out of the tap for both KH and GH and about 7.8 ph... ZERO nitrite/ates
Im still researching as of now to find out other information.

We did have two blue orange fined loaches that died from having ich, overmedication(possibly), and poor water(tank is NEW and not cycled ye
