One eyed Modesta?

Well the modesta with swim bladder damage has left us. I'm really getting pissed here becos it seems 80% of the time that in my area, the fish you purchase are irreparably damaged or ill. my HEALTHY modesta seems to only have one eye. that is, there is no PUPIL on his other eye. it's the same whitish-gold throughout, no black spot. I saw on a diagnosis site that this was a fungal growth, and to treat with malachite green and formaline... you mean... ICH MEDICINE?? aw, not again!!! everything just got balanced. well what i'm asking is, do I have a one-eyed modesta, or is this in fact a fungus growth? the eye looks more damaged than fungal. he acts perfectly fine, but i don't want this to be a caus
