Okay time to delurk after a few days reading the boards.

Okay first a quick story .... algae in tank, local fish shop sold me a Hong Kong Plec ..... turns out to be a hillstream loach ... all fine ...3 days ago stopped eating and just rests on the side of a decoration. What's more, but i can't be sure since i've not had him that long and so it's a bit hard to judge, he seems to be 'panting'

Having read the boards for a few days now and searched the archives like mad, the only thing that could possibly explain his behaviour is Skinny disease. Either that or the staff at the fish shop i got him from are correct and he's just resting after stuffing himself on algae.

So my question is, should it be skinny is there someplace i can get Maracyn in the UK or is there an UK alternative?

Or, somewhat hopefully, i have it all wro
