Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!!

I stopped by my favorite LFS tonight on the way home form work to see what they had in stock. They usually get orders from the wholesaler on Tuesdays but it's coming in tomorrow because of Monday being a holiday. The owner of the store shared with me what Loaches were on the availability list this week. Among the species outside the usual offerings are the Mystery Loaches that have been discussed lately, Zipper Loaches and Mooseface Loaches! I ordered a couple of the Moosies and Mystery Loaches (they are calling them Burmese Loaches) and will give them a few days in the LFS tanks to acclimate before I bring them home.

When I ordered them I thought the Mooseface might just be another name for the Horseface. But from what I've read the Moosies are a completely different species and are pretty rare find, so I'm really psyched! Even if they do turn out to be Horceface Loaches I won't be disappointed, my existing Horseface could use some buddies.

Of course I didn't come home empty handed tonight. I got 2 adult Kubotais and a couple of Otos. I love Loach season!

:-)
