Add Yo Yos or Clowns?

Hi all, long time no see!

OK, I have a 55 gal that has neon rainbows, Congo tetras, Bleeding Heart tetras, a cory sp. & 3 Botia striata. And 1 gorgeous marble angel.

More than a yr ago, it had Clown loaches in it as well. Then the tank got ich. The only thing I lost was all the clowns & 1 cory.

I'd like to add another group of 3-4 botias. Should I go with clowns again or Yo Yos?

The clowns were great, very entertaining & I was very sad when I lost them.

OTOH, I have kept almost all the peaceful and semi-peaceful botias except Yo Yos. They seem hardier than clowns.

Which should I add to my tank? It's a planted tank (& the clowns did do a number on the swords) and I have rather acidic water here in the US NW.

It is a 'low maintenance' tank in that I dont fuss with it much anymore or do super frequent water changes...I'll go anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks...yes I know, I am evil. But it has extra filtration and a moderate fish load.

I want something that gets along with the other residents in the tank, and yet adds something. Clowns really stand out and are funny. What about the Yo Yos?
