speaking of greying out....

one of the mid sized clowns in the group of 5 came out of its tube shelter for dinner tonight and i have NEVER seen any of them this pale. almost silver colored. after awhile...towards the end of the meal, i guess it either started darkening slightly or i just got used to the paleness...it was almost albino it was soooo pale.

even though i know to accept the greying out, this was pretty freaky for me.

wish i'd had my camera handy...would have been an excellent example of the phenomenon. the "best?" i've seen so far (in this group anyway)...my experience being, limited of course.
