Is it worth it to try and treat skinny disease?

Hey guys. I've got a Botia Dario who must have skinny disease. It's one of a pair, and the other Dario is full-bodied, colourful and HIGHLY active. The scrawny one is the same length, but about half as large. And i've still never seen it eat. Is it worth it to try and treat this fish? Or should i possibly look into another queen?
