Light periods in your tanks, please...

Hello.
With the daylight hours growing longer, for most of us, (grin), and daylight saving now in affect for some of us, I'm wondering how everyone adjusts in terms of how many hours your tanks are lit...
Many people with planted tanks will stick with a firm 10 hours/day, but normally plants do better with a fluctuation of "daylight" - less in winter, more in summer, up to about 12 hours.
So how do you folks feel about photoperiods, and what have you found success with?
Mark.
