Emergency!

Can anyone help, please? I am writing this on behalf on my ten year old. He is new to fish keeping and has a cold water tank of cloud mountain minnows, to which he added a weather loach a fortnight ago. The loach is a real character and has addded a lot to his enjoyment until we went away for the weekend on Friday. Before we left my son partially changed the water and cleaned the gravel. He left the light off and the filter etc on, and put in a pellet for the fish. When we got back yesterday we found all the fish behaving sluggishly and the temperature (normally c.14 degreesC)at 8. We have a wooden house and it cools down quickly, although we did not expect to have a problem. We left the house heating on overnight and the temperature in the tank now is back to normal. The cloud mountains are behaving normally, but the weatherloach a
