Hillstreams ahoy!

Well, Big Al's had some "Chinese Butterfly Loaches" for $9.99, so now three are installed in my river tank. I take them to be some sort of Gastromyzon. What shocked me is how they move!
I mean, I've been looking at photos of these little fellows for a while now, but really didn't get a sense that they could zip around like they do. Cooooool!
They're in with Max and Hal Loach, the Schisturas, so we'll see if any conflicts arise, but so far everyone seems peachy. One of the Gastros is clamped onto a rock about two inches from the powerhead, just enjoying the jacuzzi of it all.
I'm glad I took the plunge.
Mark.
