Interesting Punc behaviour...

This morning, at feeding time, I noticed some interesting behaviour that I had not witnessed in my puncs previously. When I turned on the lights, two were engaged in a big shoving match similar to what I have seen so often with chenis. The sides of the fish had lightened and the dorsal area from nose to tail was darker. Of course the dorsal fins and tails were flashing blue as they tried to shove each other while moving in a circular motion.They kept this up for three hours, not even stopping to feed. Up until now, one of these puncs was the dominant fish in the tank. It is very fat, and would even chase off the much larger ctenos. I have noticed lately that the s
