Temperature for N. triangularis

Ok, what's the scoop on the right temperature for Batik Loaches? I know that some of you keep them with Botias in warmer tanks, and some of you keep them in cooler river tanks.
I'd like to transfer mine from a mid-70's Kuhli tank to a river tank that is not heated.
It seems to me that these guys would be happier in a "stream" situation, given their shape.
Any thoughts?
