Filter for new tank

I have 7 clown loaches and 2 large parrot fish in a 46 gal tank. I think the bigger two of the loaches are feeling crowded and have bitten each other on the tail. I need a new tank - thinking of 80 gal - and think I would like to get a canister filter. I would like anyone's opinion on which one might be good. I don't know anything about them except that they appear to be easier to maintain. Please advise. Also any advice on the two feuding guys. Both are 5-6 inches and the biggest of the group. They are friends most of the time, but when they're not -- They're really not. Thank you!
