A fondness for loaches...

My three new striatas are very small - mere babies - but the are doing well. In their sparsely decorated Q tank, with no substrate, and tannic water from the recent driftwood addition, they dart about, and chase each other. No ill health has been seen, but I think they would prefer two or three degrees cooler water.
It has been stifling hot here (for a Vancouverite), and the fans are all set on Gale-Force, to little effect. Today is solstice, the longest day of the year. Things will soon become less stressful for these guys.
My new loaches will shortly enter a much bigger tank, with plants and lots of hiding spots, and meet other Botia species for maybe the fir
