Change of behavior in dojos

I have a 30 gallon tank. It had dojos and a couple of goldies in it. They were in there for about a year. Then the 2 goldies died, I bought 2 more, they died, then 2 more and they died. None lost more than a week. The water tested ok.
The dojos seem fine.

Today I went and bought some albino cories. I put them in that tank with the dojos. Since the tank is room temp I didn't think the temp would be a problem.

However, when I let the cories into the tank the dojos started chasing them around like they were food.

I haven't known my dojos to eat any fish before, even baby guppies but I'm wondering if they could have bugged the goldies. Do dojos get meaner as they get older? They are about 4 years old now.
