Regarding the species to go in the book...

Some of us here on LOL are working on a book, as most of you know. We've now got a substantial text in hand, as well as lots of good photos. From time to time, as we've been doing, we're going to squeeze extra information out of all of you, hopefully. This is a group project that came about because we're all here.
I would ask everyone to tell us tales about their loaches. Tell us how the clown got stuck in the ceramic teapot! Tell us how one of them got sucked into the filter intake! We'd like you to tell stories about all your loaches, particularly the ones we seldom hear about.
The folks involved with the book are going to write the text. We need to punctuate the text with anecdotes. Success stories, and stories of despair as well. These will be inserted in the book, among (hopefully) hundreds of photos.

We need what you've all got: loach stories.

We also need loach photos. We're looking for good pics of individual species - the rarer the better - in as much detail as possible. If you don't have a digital camera (and who could blame you?) borrow one - or get a friend to come over and do it for you.

Not a tall order at all! (Well...)
Folks who are able to help out - now is your chance!!
Pep-talkingly yours,
Mark.
