I just heard back from the Michigan Humane Society re: the fish torture chamber known as Bubble Gear:

Hello Robin,

Thank you for contacting the MHS. While this product does suggest the
cruel placing of a live fish in the bag's bubble, no actual or
actionable cruelty is taking place by the company. We do not have the
authority to stop their sales, however, we encourage you to add your
voice to others who are contacting the company directly about the
cruelty that these fish will have to endure as of result of their
products.

We appreciate your compassion for the animals.
