botia angelicus & discus

I have recently set up a 330 gal live planted discus tank (raising 20 small discus)and have 2 spotted botias or now know as botia angelicus. They are great fish and are doing very well. They have cleaned up all snails and swim about the tank and aggtressively feed sometimes interfearing with the small discus at feeding time. Any thoughts on 1. is this a good loach for keeping with diacus and 2. if not any suggestions on non plant eating botias that will play nice with the discus. Thank, love this site. Jay
