B sid breeding

I asked the guy to post here, John at one of my LFS has successfully bred sids.

its 150Gallon tank, 2ftx4ft footprint, heavily planted. 24 sids were placed in there 4 years ago. He has ~40 now. they apparently have started breeding recently (I might be wrong on that).
tank mates are plecos and a few small mild SA cichlids.

tank params, he's not sure on, the tank has kinda gone into neglect when this occured. his water changes are 1/3 RO water and the rest tap. our tap is hard, 13-18gH, 7-8kH, and 7.2-7.8PH which settles to 8.0-8.2pH.

Apparently they pair off. they laid the eggs on the gravel and up the concave area of a piece of driftwood, about 100 of them.

when they hatch, the older fry will take care of the younger ones, showing where it is safe and where it is not.
