Loach Sliding

A behavior I have observed in my 9 loaches (3 Yoyo, 6 Clown) is what I have termed the "Loach Slide"

The loach moves forward and then simultaneously twists 45 degrees in a spastic or quirky motion.
Sometimes they do this over smooth rocks, however they do not touch the rocks.

All of my loaches do this and sometimes 1 loach will do this several times for 4 minutes or more and then swim about normally.

Has anyone else observed this move? It is kinda cool.

Thanks
Toddly
