Ot: I need help from pro Betta Bowlers.

I've been keeping a Betta in a bowl for a good 2 months now. Its always swimming around and getting ticked off at its reflection. I feed him Tetramin and Hikari Bloodworms. Hes pink and shimmers blue. But I have a problem, lately (last 3 days) hes been spitting bubbles out on the bottom. He goes and hides in a corner and barely moves until its feeding time. Is this normal? Hes never done this before so I'm a bit concerned. He almost appears to be dead, except for the fact that I can see his gills and pectoral fins working.
