Spotted Clown Loach?!?

Hello, I am a first time owner of 2 Clown Loaches. I have had them about 3 months now, and they seem happy.

I have a couple issues though.

Firstly, As I understand it, Clown Loaches tend to "grey" out on occasion. I have noticed this to happen with my loaches on occasion.

What is worrying me is that when they are not "greyed" out, their orange bodies seem very pale in contrast to pictures I have seen.

What kind of variation in the "orange" should I expect to see? If my loaches are a pale orange all the time, is there a problem?

Secondly, I had a tough bout with Ich, and I medicated and saved them. However, I am noticing now that on my largest loach, running from his nose, up his back and along the upper half of his body are small "blackish-grey" spots. As f
