Dither Fish Pics

I'm finally getting an angle on how to photograph the Danio roseus that I got 2 weeks ago as Dither Fish for the River-Tank. They've grown an awful amount in two weeks and are clearly sexable.

Here's a composite which gives a good impression of their beauty:

The Danio choprae are even more difficult to photograph. They stay very close to the surface and no picture I've taken so far gets close to showing their true beauty. Here's the best so far:

In no way does this show the beautiful yellow colouration of the body and fin stripes.

Both these species are being imported now and both live in cooler conditions. D. roseus actually lives adjacent to water falls, so a River-Tank suits them just fine.

They're small, peaceful and very lively, which keeps the Hillstreams feeling confident, so they are out and about a lot.

Martin.
