Merry Chrismas everyone

I just got a new 90 gal tank with Eheim 2217 canister filter. My wife and I are new to this hobby and absolutely love clown loaches.

Now I need to know what is the quickest and safest way to move our 9 beloved clown loaches along with other fishes from our current 55 gal tank to this new tank. I would like to use everything I already have except for the old heater and filter. I will add another 20 pounds of gravel in addition to 40 pounds I currently use.

I am asking because it was a disaster the last time my wife and me tried to rearrange our tank and mess with gravel, now we need to change EVERYTHING and really dont want any of our fish to die or suffer due to our inexperience.
