How to get a hillstream to eat...

I got a Gastromyzon ridens a couple of months ago and while the fish was grazing, I never saw it eat anything else. I would think that making a living grazing in such a heavily grazed hillstream tank would be difficult, at best. So, I decided I needed to try something. In the past, to got a cteno of mine to start eating again, I had spread Tetra Nature's Delica whole brine shrimp gel onto the top of the powerhead. The cteno finally started eating again and still expects me to feed him that way although he eats other foods. He's very spoiled. ;)
