Loach breeding

I was checking out the Feb. 2005 issue of TFH today and noticed an article about getting hard-to-breed fish to spawn. This was the second of a two part article and I missed part one. From what I gathered from part two, two people, Sally Boggs and Don (?) Majorino (I really have to start carrying a pen with me) have repeatedly bred some types of loaches. One was one of the red tailed schisturas, but I don't know what others, if any were also bred. Does anyone know anything about this? It sure sounds interesting.
