My clown loaches sleep on the filter intake

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior. I have two 2" clown loaches in a 30 gallon tank. There is a power filter with the intake tube hanging down into the tank. Since I've had the loaches (~10 days), several times I have seen them sleeping vertically with their bellies on the intake part of the tube. They both hang there together while they are taking their naps. Pretty interesting! Maybe they like how it feels or they can hang there without using any energy? Anyone know anything about this?
