Tragic loss

I just lost my oldest hillstream. He was the original breeder male cheni I bought five years ago. From what I know (and from Martin's experience) that's one old hillstream! He was very large(2") and had a cataract on one eye. But,he had spawned about a week ago. He had seemed healthy, but had not chased some of the puncs around in the last day or so as he usually did. I really hadn't noticed anything different other than that, though. I guess he was just worn out. I got him a new young girlfriend last year and that really got him fired up again. He had been "widowed" about two years ago but when he met the new girl in town, he started spawning almost immediately. I think he had a good life.
