Hello all. I have had my 2 hillstream loaches (Beaufortia kweichowensis) for 3 weeks now. They are in a 20 gallon UNHEATED tank with an internal filter turned up full blast. Their tankmates are 4 zebra danios and 2 rosy barbs.

I still haven't managed to feed them anything other than algae. Despite this, the larger one is good about finding things to eat. He's active a great deal of the time during the day. He eats from the glass, but he has also taken to resting on the leaves of the Java fern and eating off the brown algae that has grown there. And he scours the bogwood for tasty bits. (I have rocks in there but they are a recent addition so haven't aquired any algae yet.)

The other one is quite a bit smaller. He still has the white patches on him that I noticed soon after I got him. He eats onl
