The wonderful, wonderful foodstone *PIC*

After some weeks my gastromyzons have gotten used to being fed on this "foodstone". A stone I cover with a paste of gelatine mixed with powdered food. On the picture they allmost finished eating. The food is the green stuff on the rock. The foodstone is a very popular place to go and eat. One or two fish often cling to the stone when I lift it out of the water in order to paste the food onto it. The method involves a bit of extra work of course. But in my tank it's worth it. I believe the algae groth in my tank is insufficiant to feed all of my hillstreams. And food pills are very quickly swallowed by the larger danios and barbs - leaving only little food for the hillstreams. Using the foodstone the hillstreams get their fair share of the daily meal.
