A week or so ago I posted a query about a very beaten-up looking black kuhli, covered in white scratches and scraped patches. After lots of really helpful advice (not to mention a very interesting discussion about melafix & kuhlis) I decided to do - nothing. Or not to medicate, anyway, I carried on with frequent water changes (although I did have a bottle of myxazin on standby just in case). The fish initially developed a few more of the marks but is now almost completely better, you can still see faint marks where all the scratches were, but they are almost completely faded now.

So many thanks for the advice - especially to Graeme, who suggested carrying on with frequent water changes before medicating.
