Re: Korean Loach

I have introduced a purchased group of about 60 Korean Loachs to a spring feed pond which is otherwise empty of vertibrates.

The pond is approximately 40 sq meters and varies in depth up to 2 meters. the current habitate is mostly fallen leaves and some water follage.

The food supply consists of insects and vegitation.

I would be interested in hearing any comments on the environmental impact (pro or con) of this and any thoughts as to what to expect in terms of the long term imapct.

Regards

Yes, the pond is in Korea, is in a natural surrounding and should be natural loach habitat.
