Just curious about Kuhli

I know there are many types of kuhli hence the question that follows in this post. But to start with I will describe my kuhli. Currently this particular one is rather small 2 inches maybe a little more but what strikes me as odd is the pattern. The three stripes (I think its 3) that go along the face go from top to bottom which is "normal" so to say but then after that this kuhli just has like one big stripe with goldish colored dots running down the dorsal side of the fish. The large black stripe stops at about halfway, in other words its not completely transverse going from dorsal to ventral. I believe the caudal (tail fin) spot is there although it is being quite sneaky still and I haven't been able to clearly look at the fin. In short this kuhli is like half black, half goldish pink. with dots running down the top of the black stripe. I can't get a picture at the moment as it is hiding in a plant with the others and the camera would never catch enough of it to matter really. I am just wondering if anybody knows if this pattern is particular to one kind of "kuhli"?
I guess I should have referred to it as a pangio or something in stead of a kuhli.. just substitute if you feel necessary.
Thanks in advance
