Blue Green Algae

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will test the water again and the tap to see what I get and plan to manually wipe off as much algae as I can, suction it out and do the 50% water change and again in a week. I have Zeolite Granules, but they say they are only for ammonia. The store said they really didn't have anything else to put in the filter. What is the brand you use? I was feeding twice a day and they were eating it all in 2-3 minutes with the Cory's going wild and the Placo's getting into the action some of the time. About a week ago I decreased to once per day as I thought that might be a factor. After reading the replys I also turned the light off after feeding. There is no natural light at all so I have to turn it on shortly for them to see the food. After the algae is eradicated and every thing tests clean, I
