I was looing at the disease treatment info on the site and thought you guys might be interested in the following:
In my inexperienced haste to add fish to my new 112litre/25gall tank in June last year I managed to introduce or set off the dreaded Ich. I had shrimps in the tank which are horribly sensitive to copper and also 6 small loaches (Botia sidthimunki) which I'd also read were sensitive. As most Ich treatments seem to contain copper or not actually say what they contain atall, I decided to try some 'organic' product used in reef systems that was suggested by the guys in lfs. It smelled very strong and the fish got worse - probably not due to the product but because it just wasn't working. My 6 'sids' were the worst affected; they would lie on their side's barely able to right themselves in the water outflow. They were covered in spo
