Mini Moose died last night. :-(

He was only about half grown.

When I got home from work I spotted him at the front of the tank sitting with his nose in one corner. Nothing looked unusual (he was breathing normally, not thin or pale) except that he didn't bolt into the sand when I approached the tank. Basically I thought to myself, "Hmmmm. Better keep an eye on him." This morning I found him dead on his back in the same corner. I don't know what to make of it.

The little Rostrata with the busted has a spot on the right side of his face that doesn't seem to be healing and his right eye has begun to swell. Everyone in the main tank is now getting medicated flake (tetracycline), though I don't know if it will make any difference.

I'm gong to try to find some place in the NYC metro area where I can get a necropsy done on the Moos
