Clown + bio load

How are clowns counted in the bio load, especially as they get longer and deep bodied? Could someone give guidance for a 2", 4" and 6" clown (not including tail fin) My Alpha, at nearly 4", is becoming nicely deep bodied, and I suspect he counts about 6" when working out if tank is still understocked giving them room to grow or fully/over stocked now.
I saw a 9" and 10" clown loach for sale at Maidenhead Aquatics (St. Albans)They were probably stressed in tank on floor, facing away, pale colour, but I was amazed how wide/high they get.
