Botia ID????

Below is a photo of a loach that came in a while back with a bag of loaches which were ordered in as Botia lecontei (from a Thai supplier). Most of these fish actually turned out to be Botia eos. The loach in the photo has always been the biggest fish in the tank and is now about 4.5". Over the last couple of months, it has developed a small black dotted pigment pattern on the caudal fin. There are no spots on any other fins. It doesn't look like the eos, and it doesn't fit the description of lecontei as it has no dark blotch at the caudal peduncle. I have never read of lecontei having spots either. What do you guys think this loach is?
