Question about Sids

I was recently told that someone is farm raising b. sidthimunki. I had not heard this, but have been out of things for a while.

Is this true or just one of those rumors going around the web? It would make me real happy to know they WERE being bred in captivity or in Thailand on farms.......but somehow I doubt it.
