has a wonderful selection of mopani/african root wood. oh man did i go berserk. the owner opened a new bag of wood for me..sheesh i bought 12.75 pounds of wood....at $4 a pound it seems reasonable to me.

last time i visited my mom here in Beaverton (actually), i found this store which had just opened. the owner used to work far across town at my other favorite lfs here in the portland area. i am so glad to see the store looking to be vital...wonderful tanks and great looking fish and the two display tanks at the entrance are stunning...the plants are exquisite and cared for by, if a recall correctly, a local woman...simply beautiful.

i told the owner that he is very devilish...he volunteered to open another bag of wood for me next week!! (even today...lol) i love mopani and don't find it anywhere in maine.
